The Groups and Workshops timetable for Lent Term.
We run three kinds of groups at UCS - workshops, focused groups and longer counselling groups. The workshops are generally one-off events and do not require any ongoing commitment. The focused groups are for people who want help with a particular issue. Longer counselling groups offer support over a period of several weeks. To ensure a group experience, we aim to run groups and workshops of 6 participants or more and if there are insufficient numbers to run a group or workshop it may be cancelled.

What happens next?
When we receive your form, you will get a text message to acknowledge this.
Around a week before the workshop date, we will send you an email asking you to confirm your attendance.
You must reply to this email within two days to secure a place in the workshop.
Places will be allocated on a first come first served basis.
We ask that you do not up a workshop place unless you are certain that you will be attending.
During the COVID-19 situation, all University Counselling Service workshops will be held remotely, online via Zoom.us until further notice.
In order to for students to join the workshops, you will need to either download Zoom (https://zoom.us/download) or install the app on your mobile phone or tablet (search for Zoom US).
IMPORTANT:
Please be aware that you will only be able to attend one group at a time. Please therefore register only for your first choice this term. There will be opportunities to attend other groups in another term. For general information about groups at the Counselling Service, please click here.
You are welcome to book places on our one or two session workshops alongside your other counselling commitments. Unless otherwise stated all our groups and workshops are open to undergraduates and postgraduates.
