Hold the Hope - A Self-Care Workshop for Survivors of Sexual Violence

This workshop will run over 2 sessions, and it will provide a safe space to explore self-care and coping strategies for students who have experienced any kind of sexual harassment, assault or violence, at any time in their lives. We will look at resources and exercises, and you will receive a selection of resources that you can use in your own time. These sessions will involve a mix of large group, small group and pairs work.

What will the workshops involve?
- The workshops are focused on developing positive and healthy self-care strategies including grounding, breathing exercises, journaling, affirmations and more.
- We will look at some psychoeducation around trauma and also around how victim-blaming attitudes can impact how you might feel.
- The workshops are NOT a space to discuss the details of what you have been subjected to, if you'd like to have more tailored, one-to-one support please refer yourself to the SAHA service at the following link: https://www.counselling.cam.ac.uk/sexual-assault-and-harassment-advisor
